BØRGE JØRGENSEN (1926-1998)
By Campus Nakskov between sections 2 and 3.
Early in his career, Børge Jørgensen made figurative sculptures in granite, and from around 1960 he started working with more flexible material, e.g. sheet iron, and created works of a more abstract kind.
This sculpture together with “We all have to go through the portal” from 1985 (page 16) beautifully illustrate the broad artistic range of this highly recognized artist.
The sculpture is a gift by will from Vibeke and Per Offer Andersen who played a central role in the creation of the Education Centre.
